SoleMates is the adult charity program of Girls on the Run®.

We are male and female athletes who pursue individual goals such as running a marathon or participating in a triathlon to raise money for Kent County Girls on the Run®.

Just as SoleMates members are changed by their experience, Girls on the Run uses running to transform the way girls see themselves and their opportunities. Our ultimate goal is to raise enough money to reach every girl, and to educate and prepare her for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living.

Run, Bike or Tri in the event of your choice!

Half marathon, mud run, 5k, sprint triathlon, century ride, obstacle course, golf competition, paddle board, sand castle building, track & field, ultra marathon, 10k…

You get the picture?

With this program you choose the event…ANY event will do! “Choose Your Own Event” SoleMates can select any event and use it as an opportunity to be         active, stay healthy, have fun, and raise money for

Kent County GOTR.  Sure, we have some events we can suggest (KCGOTR Family Fun Walk; KCGOTR Celebration 5k). But we also  recognize that each individual has his/her own idea about staying active and having fun. Choose any activity that you enjoy
and turn it into a fundraiser for the
girls of Kent County.

• Your Fundraising Dollars at Work

Girls on the Run programs combine training for a 3.1 mile running event with self-esteem enhancing, uplifting workouts. Our goal is for every girl in Kent County to have the opportunity to be a Girl on the Run, regardless of background or income. No girl is ever turned away for inability to pay.

The funds you raise allow KCGOTR to provide financial assistance for program fees to girls who otherwise could not afford this life-changing program. $175 will support one girl for an entire season of Girls on the Run!

Don’t forget to ask if your own or your donors’ employers match charitable contributions! Donations made to KCGOTR are tax deductible; we are a 501c3 non-profit organization.
