Kent County

Kent County Girls on the Run (KCGOTR) is proud to be an independent council of Girls on the Run® (GOTR) International. Kent County offers the GOTR program for girls in grades 3-5and Girls on Track for grades 6-8. Both programs provide pre-teen girls with the opportunity to use the power of physical exercise, no matter what their ability level is, todevelop self-respect and healthy lifestyles.e hosted our first GOTR program in 2003.
From that initial group of 100 girls, our program has grown rapidly. During our 2011 season, we served 1,700 Kent County girls.
This spring, 2,005 girls are participating in Kent County Girls on the Run. That’s 140 teams. A total of 345 liaisons and coaches volunteered to guide our girls during our 10-week season. Amazing. And we could not do it without the funding and support of our sponsors.
